No. They sound almost identical and both use AI, but they do opposite things. Sorti (spelled with an i) is a save-everything app: you capture the things you want from anywhere on your phone - screenshots, links, reels, products, recipes, places - and Sorti organizes them and helps you act on them later. What does Sorto actually do?
Sorto is a wardrobe and beauty inventory app made by Sorto Solutions Co in the Philippines. You add items you already own by photo, link, or receipt, and Sorto builds a picture of your closet: what you wear most, what you rarely touch, where you overbuy, and a style identity it calls your Aura, House, and Archetype. It has recently added a beauty section ("Vanity") for cataloging makeup and skincare with expiry-date tracking and ingredient lists. The whole product is oriented around understanding and reflecting on what you already have, with a sustainability angle of buying less.
What does Sorti do differently?
Sorti is not an inventory of your possessions. It is a layer for everything you save with the intent to act on it. You screenshot a dress from an Instagram reel, save a recipe from TikTok, keep a link to a restaurant, bookmark a product - and Sorti reads each one, categorizes it automatically, recovers the source link, tracks prices, and brings it back at the moment you can use it. Does Sorto save screenshots and links from Instagram or TikTok?
Sorto is built around items you own, added by photo, link, or receipt, so it is not a general screenshot or social-save organizer. If you want an app that catches every screenshot, reel, link, and post you save from Instagram, TikTok, and anywhere else, and organizes all of it automatically, that is what Sorti does.
Are Sorti and Sorto made by the same company?
No, they are unrelated companies. Sorto is made by Sorto Solutions Co, based in Makati, Philippines. Sorti is a separate product with its own team. The similar names are a coincidence; the apps are in different categories.
